02Mechanism of Action
This blend pairs the two compounds most frequently used together in tissue-repair research. BPC-157, a pentadecapeptide derived from a gastric protein sequence, is studied for VEGF-pathway signaling, fibroblast migration and angiogenesis in injury models.
TB-500 is the synthetic fragment corresponding to the actin-binding domain of thymosin β4, investigated for actin sequestration and its effects on cell motility and migration.
The two act on distinct mechanisms — one predominantly on growth-factor signaling, the other on cytoskeletal dynamics — which is the stated basis for studying them in combination. The combination itself is not separately characterised in published literature.
