Reconstitution Solution
Bacteriostatic reconstitution solution in a 10 mL vial — laboratory supply for dissolving lyophilized research peptides.
Laboratory Use
Bacteriostatic water is the standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilized research peptides. The benzyl alcohol content inhibits bacterial growth, which is why it is preferred over plain sterile water where a preparation will be drawn from more than once.
Volume of diluent determines the concentration of the resulting solution — that calculation belongs to the researcher and depends on the assay. Supplied as a laboratory reagent only; not a drug, and not for human or veterinary use.
