02Mechanism of Action

Tesamorelin is a trans-3-hexenoyl derivative of human GHRH(1-44), a modification studied for its resistance to dipeptidyl peptidase-4 degradation relative to native GHRH. It is investigated at the GHRH receptor.

Ipamorelin acts at the growth-hormone secretagogue receptor and is characterised in the literature for receptor selectivity.

This pairing differs from the CJC-1295 combination in the GHRH component: Tesamorelin is the full 1-44 sequence with an acyl modification, where CJC-1295 is a 1-29 fragment analog. Research compares the two GHRH strategies under identical secretagogue co-stimulation.

05FAQ

What is in this blend?

A single lyophilized vial containing Tesamorelin 5 mg and Ipamorelin 5 mg — 10 mg total peptide content.

How does this differ from CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin?

The GHRH component. Tesamorelin is an acyl-modified full GHRH(1-44) sequence studied for DPP-4 resistance; CJC-1295 is a modified GHRH(1-29) fragment. The Ipamorelin component is identical.

What is the total peptide content?

10 mg per vial — 5 mg of each constituent. Supplier specification states a 3 mL vial; confirm against the lot certificate.

How should Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin be stored?

Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin ships lyophilized and should be handled per standard research-peptide practice — kept cold, protected from light and moisture, and reconstituted only for laboratory use. Cold-chain handling is used where required. For research use only.

Is Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin approved for human use?

No. Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin is sold strictly for laboratory research use only and is not a drug or supplement. It is not approved for human or veterinary use or consumption.

How is Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin tested at Ethos Bio?

Every lot is independently verified by Kovera Labs on a third-party analytical panel — RP-HPLC purity and HPLC-MS identity confirmation — and a lot-specific certificate of analysis issued to Ethos Bio ships with the vial. See How We Test for the full methodology.
