Research Overview

Tesamorelin is a stabilized analog of the full-length growth-hormone-releasing hormone GHRH(1-44). As a GHRH-receptor agonist it is studied for stimulation of endogenous growth-hormone secretion and downstream IGF-1 signaling.

Research models also examine its relationship to visceral-lipid and metabolic endpoints associated with the GH–IGF-1 axis.
