Mechanism of action
CJC-1295 (without DAC) is a modified analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) fragment 1-29. It acts as a GHRH-receptor agonist on pituitary somatotrophs, studied for its capacity to stimulate growth-hormone release while preserving the natural pulsatile pattern.
The amino-acid substitutions improve enzymatic stability relative to native GRF. Research is confined to endocrine-signaling and pituitary-secretion models.
